Flood Control District to Start Surveying Activity for Buffalo Bayou Maintenance Project
Starting Monday, March 17, 2014, surveyors will be in the area to collect information in support of a Harris County Flood Control District maintenance project that will address slope erosion on the north side of Buffalo Bayou just west of the Dairy Ashford Street bridge. The surveying activity is expected to be complete by the end of the week, and project design will begin after that.
The Flood Control District will provide additional information about the erosion repair project in advance of construction.
This survey activity is NOT related to the Flood Control District's Terry Hershey Park Surveying Contract, which is an effort to gather vegetation and topography information within Flood Control District right-of-way along the south side of Buffalo Bayou between N. Eldridge Parkway and N. Wilcrest Drive.
